Even A Blind Man Can Tell He’s Walking In The Sun

Even A Blind Man Can Tell He’s Walking In The Sun

I have spent years crawling my way through the darkness. In recent months, I finally began seeing the sun. Now I am out walking in it, literally and figuratively. It is the most wonderful feeling I have ever experienced. I am now living a life full of love, happiness, joy, and expressing my true identity because of the painstakingly difficult internal work I have been doing every single day to eliminate my toxic patterns.

I am also living this life of emotional freedom, stability, and security because of the sobriety I have chosen.

The sun was always there, and I was so far under the clouds I couldn’t see it. Today, I am standing on the mountain above the clouded valley I once roamed. I am never taking this transformation for granted, or going back to where I used to be.

Thank you to everyone who has been walking alongside me on this journey. Words cannot simply express how I am forever grateful for your love, support, and encouragement.

It was written with care and intention, grounded in my love, compassion, vulnerability, and gratitude.
It reflects my healing, my recovery, my acceptance, and my commitment to accountability and ownership, and to making amends through the way I choose to live my life today.

❤️
