April 2026 in Photos and Videos

April 2026, was the best month of my life. Hands down. It was truly hard to say goodbye to everything I got to experience. This was the month that I began deeply exploring unconditional love and acceptance of others, and how I could fully lead my life and do everything I do from a place of love.

The month started off a wonderful evening of improv and the community I am building there. That was just the beginning of a series of wonderful experiences I had.

I started going to church (Center for Spiritual Living). I spent an amazing day with my daughter in the Skagit tulip fields. I assisted with behind-the-scenes photography on a couple engagement shoots. I spent dozens of evenings watching the sunset on the pier. I walked miles on the local beaches hunting for agates, special rocks, and stacking stones. I experienced my first breathwork ceremony. I began openly exploring my femininity, bought my first beautiful skirts, and wore them out in public, and it felt so good. I went to a gratefulness group and learned about how my expectations and assumptions were inhibiting my gratitude. I recorded two 360-degree videos. I deepened my connection and bond with the local veteran community. I kept boundaries with several people when they tested them. I didn’t repeat a single pattern I have previously identified, once.

The month ended with me being 838 days sober from alcohol, 115 days completely sober from all drugs/alcohol/cannabis, and 40 days emotionally sober from mental poisons and activities that were previously dysregulating my nervous system.

And the icing on the cake? I ended the month tonight swimming with a special friend in the Salish Sea, under a fading sunset and a rising full moon. This was my first swim in salt water this year, and it definitely won’t be my last.

May you find peace and harmony, joy and happiness, and unconditional love and acceptance in your journey through life. May you suffer less, and smile more with each passing day.

Thank you for being a part of my life. I am so grateful to have you walking alongside me.

I love you.

I am better than I have ever been, and this is why.
I am finally walking in the sun of my healing and positive lifestyle changes.

It was written with care and intention, grounded in my love, compassion, vulnerability, and gratitude.
It reflects my healing, my recovery, my acceptance, and my commitment to accountability and ownership, and to making amends through the way I choose to live my life today.
