June 2026 was a month of exploration and wonder. Learning about being autistic while exploring dating with 3 different women. 176 days completely sober from drugs and alcohol. 161.4 miles walked on two feet that kept my nervous system regulated. I road tripped through 5 states and slept in 4 of them. I went no-contact with all but two people I am related to.

The lessons of June are simple:

  • Listen to your nervous system, let it guide you, and don’t resist it.
  • Set boundaries and keep them. Walk and block those who violate them.
  • Autism is real for me and learning I am autistic is helping me understand many mysteries of my life.
  • Belly laughing with a woman you just met is absolutely wonderful.
  • Watching a sunset and orcas in the bay with another woman you just met is also absolutely wonderful.
  • Charge the storm, horns forward. Always.

That is the application. The rest is the source code.

> the numbers that don't lie: JUNE_2026_stats.log

161.4 miles walked.

176 days completely sober from drugs and alcohol. Not a single identified pattern repeated. TuOS followed to the letter, every single day, without exception. TuOS revised several times with additional operating system instructions.

Those are not just numbers. Those are the result of months of hard internal work becoming a permanent way of life.

> 4000 KNOWN acts and counting: kindness_ops_202606.sh

This month I continued to participate in a project I was invited into that has spread a known total of over 4000 acts of kindness in the community, which has rippled into thousands more. There are at least 15 people involved and these acts of kindness have rippled into an estimated 30,000 acts of kindness in multiple states. The project has no end in sight.

> what I was grateful for: gratitude_log_202606.txt
  • The people who have shown up for me through everything
  • The experiences I had with a special woman I dated
  • The beautiful emails and texts from this special woman
  • The ability to travel and road trip
  • The time spent with my two of my longest and best friends
  • Getting to go to Death Valley
  • The people who supported my decision to end my road trip early
  • The detours on side roads in California and the cool sights on them
  • All of the changes in my life, even the difficult ones, that have happened in the last year

> the things that can go straight to hell: fuck_you_202606.sh
  • Family drama shit, especially triangulation using innocent children
  • Boundary pushers and violators
  • People pleasers and liars
  • Not getting good sleep in Medford, Oregon
  • Medford, Oregon in general
  • Cracked lips
  • Canker sores
  • High elevation and heat exhaustion
  • Nervous system shit
  • Semi-truck drivers in California
  • Heat
  • Thousands of assholes on the road on 6/28/26
  • The ways that choosing to love yourself are illogically painful and difficult at the beginning
  • Seeing people get their hearts broken

I said what I said.

Photos from Bellingham (before/after the road trip), and all of my selfies from the entire month in random order.
June 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026

Photos shot on the Ricoh GRIIIX at 40mm, Insta360 X3, and the iPhone 15 Pro, in WA/OR/CA/NV/AZ.

It was written with care and intention, grounded in my love, compassion, vulnerability, and gratitude.
It reflects my healing, my recovery, my acceptance, and my commitment to accountability and ownership, and to making amends through the way I choose to live my life today.
